Feeding the community. Together.

Our Mission

Kehilat Sephardim Food Pantry aims to end hunger in the surrounding Jewish / Immigrant communities and beyond by providing Kosher and assorted goods multiple days a week via an open market and client choice system where all of our food is visible and clients can choose what they would like to take for themselves and their loved ones.

We Believe One Should Not Have To Choose Between Their Religious/ Dietary Needs and Going Hungry

Make A Difference

Kehilat is 100% Volunteer staffed and operated. From our distribution team on the front line, to our admin volunteers on the “back end” providing operational support. Our volunteers handle everything from Distribution & Prep to outreach, Fundraising as well as Social Media. Our volunteers play an important role in maintaining this pantry and its goals. We love to see their efforts come together and witness the amazing things that they accomplish.

If you would like to join our team and serve your community in the fight against hunger, simply click the “Volunteer” button below to sign up for shifts via our volunteer hub (sponsored by Hunger Free America) or you can email us at “Volunteers@KehilatPantry.Org”.

Donate Today

As a non profit community organization, we are constantly striving to end hunger in our community and help mobilize volunteers to help us with this goal. With everything going on in the world and our city, we try to be the beacon of light that New York needs.

However, we cannot simply rely on food and volunteers alone. Our pantry also relies on people like you to help us continue serving our clients and community.

Please help by clicking the donate button and sending a donation to help support our pantry’s operations. Every bit helps and all donations go to helping to further improve our service to our clients and community. Even the smallest donation can make a HUGE difference.

Kehilat Is a Registered 501c3 Organization and ALL Donations are Tax Exempt
