Kehilat Food Pantry is a Non-Profit Kosher Food Pantry serving the local Queens Community.  We operate on an open market concept where clients have the choice of what foods they would like for themselves and their families based on our inventory during each distribution.  Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, our client numbers have grown tremendously to over 400 clients daily and over 1,200 clients weekly. We have thus ordered more food and hired on additional staff to help with distribution and registration.

We operate on the basis of treating our clients like family: we do our best to help in any way we can, and we ask our clients to simply pay it forward to help others in their communities.

We are open for public distribution 3 days a week. Clients are served on a “First Come First Serve” basis (we DO expedite for clients needing “priority” based on specific criteria as assessed by our staff at every distribution)

We DO NOT discriminate.

We DO NOT ask for proof of need , only that you take only what you want and what you need. (We DO ask new clients to bring a photo ID as proof of identity)
